Owner of Towards Healing Clinic

As a Registered Psychotherapist licensed by the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I bring a wealth of education and experience to my practice. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the esteemed University of Ottawa, complemented by an Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology from the University of Toronto.

With over five years of clinical experience, my journey in psychotherapy began during my internship, where I had the privilege of working closely with refugees and immigrants who had endured traumatic experiences. This pivotal experience ignited my passion and dedication to serving clients navigating trauma-related challenges.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve diverse populations in Toronto and North York, working within esteemed institutions such as Downsview Health Care and Pinpoint Health- Infinity Health: Medical Clinic and Rehab Centre. Specializing in trauma-informed care, I am committed to providing culturally responsive and safe therapeutic environments for clients facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including PTSD, childhood trauma, mood disorders (anxiety disorders and depression), and self-esteem issues.

My therapeutic approach is multifaceted, drawing from a diverse range of modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I am proficient in Trauma-Informed therapies, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Interventions, Strength-Based Interventions, Compassion-Focused Therapy, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have also earned a Certificate from Beck’s Institute in the “Essentials of CBT” and am currently undergoing training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist Professional (CCTP).

With a deep commitment to ongoing professional development and a steadfast dedication to my clients’ well-being, I am honored to accompany individuals on their journey toward healing and growth.

Therapy as a Journey of Reclamation

Healing from Within: Reclaiming Identity, Self-Worth & Emotional Balance

If you’ve ever felt like your past is shaping your present in ways you can’t control—through anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty setting boundaries—you’re not alone. Many of us carry survival strategies that helped us once but now hold us back from living fully and authentically.

My approach to therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and deeply rooted in narrative therapy and parts work through an attachment lens, helping clients reclaim agency over their lives by reshaping the stories they tell about themselves. Healing begins with understanding—and rewriting the narratives and developing awareness of the patterns that have shaped a person’s identity, self-worth, and emotional responses.

As a trauma-informed psychotherapist in Toronto and North York, I offer a compassionate, holistic approach to healing. My work draws from narrative therapy, somatic awareness, attachment theory, and parts work—tailored to help you move from survival mode to intentional, value-based living.

Together, we’ll gently explore the stories, beliefs, and emotional responses that have shaped your identity, and work toward healing, connection, and self-trust.

Core Principles of My Approach

📝 1. Narrative Re-Authoring: You Are Not Your Struggles

  • Reclaim your story by separating your identity from problems like self-criticism, anxiety, or trauma responses.
  • Through externalization and narrative restructuring, we shift the lens from shame to empowerment.
  • Together, we rewrite the story: one of resilience, worth, and self-agency.

🧠 2. Trauma-Informed Healing: Understanding Emotional Survival Patterns

  • Perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional withdrawal—these are often protective responses to past wounds.
  • We’ll explore how attachment trauma and early life experiences shaped your nervous system and relationships.
  • By recognizing flight, fight, freeze, or fawn responses, you gain choice, not just reaction.

🌱 3. Self-Worth Beyond Performance: Reclaiming an Authentic Identity

  • Many clients I work with have learned to equate worth with achievement, approval, or productivity.
  • We will challenge those beliefs and reconnect with your values, inner child, and sense of meaning.
  • Therapy becomes a space to rediscover self-worth rooted in being, not doing.

💗 4. Emotional Regulation & Self-Compassion: Building Inner Stability

  • Healing starts with nonjudgmental self-awareness.
  • We’ll use mindfulness, somatic regulation, and psychoeducation to navigate emotional triggers.
  • You’ll gain tools—worksheets, metaphors, grounding practices—to manage overwhelm and increase resilience.

🤝 5. Reclaiming Connection & Boundaries: From People-Pleasing to Authenticity

  • Many clients struggle with hyper-independence or fear of rejection.
  • Therapy supports you in expressing needs, setting limits, and building secure relationships without guilt.
  • You’ll learn to connect from a place of self-trust—not fear.

You deserve support that honors your story and helps you step into a life rooted in authenticity, connection, and self-worth.

Reclaiming Your Story: Healing Through Strength and Self- Compassopn

Healing is not just about understanding past wounds, but also about recognizing the strengths that have carried you through difficult times. I care deeply about exploring the unique outcomes in your narrative, helping you honor your resilience while also making space for new ways of being.Throughout our work together, I emphasize self-compassion and emotional regulation, helping you respond to unhelpful beliefs, shift unhealthy coping behaviors, and build skills that support your well-being. Therapy is a space where you are no longer defined by past wounds, but by your own evolving, empowered story.
